Cookie & Browser Storage Policy
How Koloring Coach uses cookies, browser storage, and similar technologies on koloringcoach.com.
Last updated: September 26, 2026
Effective date: September 26, 2026
This Cookie & Browser Storage Policy explains how Kolor Me Silly LLC, doing business as Koloring Coach (“Kolor Me Silly,” “Koloring Coach,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) uses cookies, browser storage, and similar technologies on koloringcoach.com.
Koloring Coach currently uses browser storage only for account authentication, security, an unfinished Free Test setup, limited in-app preferences, checkout, payment security, and other functions needed to provide features a user requests. We do not currently use advertising, retargeting, social-media tracking, or third-party behavioral-analytics technologies.
At a glance
- We use essential browser storage to sign users in, secure accounts, and authorize account requests.
- Before sign-in, an unfinished Free Test setup is stored locally in the user’s browser for up to 24 hours.
- Limited session preferences are stored on the device and normally clear when the browser tab or session ends.
- Our payment provider may use essential cookies or similar technologies during checkout and account billing management.
- We do not currently use advertising cookies, retargeting pixels, social-media tracking pixels, or third-party behavioral analytics.
- Clearing browser storage signs the user out and may remove an unfinished Free Test setup, but it does not delete the user’s account or projects already saved to the account.
What these technologies are
Cookies
Cookies are small text files that a website or service stores in a browser. A cookie can support functions such as maintaining a session, protecting checkout, remembering a choice, or measuring activity.
Local storage
Local storage is browser-based storage that can remain after a tab or browser is closed. It remains until the application removes it, it expires under application logic, or the user clears browser data.
Session storage
Session storage is browser-based storage associated with a particular tab or browsing session. It normally clears when the tab or session closes, although browser restoration features can sometimes affect that timing.
IndexedDB
IndexedDB is a browser database that can store structured information and files locally on a user’s device. Koloring Coach uses it for the unfinished Free Test setup before account authentication.
Similar technologies
Technologies such as pixels, software development kits, device identifiers, URL parameters, and browser scripts can also store information, read information, or communicate with a provider. This Policy covers those technologies when Koloring Coach uses them for similar purposes.
Cookie rules generally apply to more than traditional cookies and can cover other storage or access technologies on a user’s device.
Browser-storage summary
| Category | Technology | Purpose | Typical duration | Required? |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| Account authentication | Browser-based session storage, local storage, or provider cookies | Keep the user signed in, maintain the session, secure the account, and authorize requests | Until sign-out, expiration, account-security action, or browser-data removal, depending on the authentication configuration | Yes for signed-in account features |
| Free Test draft | IndexedDB | Hold the selected page image and settings before sign-in | Up to 24 hours; also cleared after successful account saving or cancellation | Yes when the user chooses the Free Test flow |
| Sign-in resume | Limited URL or authentication state | Return the user to the unfinished Free Test flow after authentication | Temporary; used to complete sign-in and resume the requested flow | Yes for that flow |
| In-app preferences | Session storage | Remember limited interface state, such as marker search and filter settings | Normally until the tab or browser session ends | Functional |
| Requested account and page flows | Local and session storage | Remember a pending email preference, reconnect an unfinished page creation without using another credit, and resume account or support actions | Pending choices are removed after use; unfinished page attempts are checked for expiry after six hours; session items normally clear when the tab closes | Functional |
| Staff preview | Session storage | Remember an authorized staff member’s temporary member-preview state | Normally until the tab or browser session ends | Restricted staff function |
| Checkout and billing | Payment-provider cookies or similar storage | Process a purchase, maintain checkout, prevent fraud, and operate the customer billing portal | Set by the payment provider according to its configuration and policy | Yes when checkout or billing tools are requested |
| Security and infrastructure | Security cookies, request identifiers, or load-balancing technology if enabled by a provider | Deliver pages, prevent abuse, distribute traffic, and protect the service | Session-based or limited provider-defined periods | Usually necessary |
| Advertising and retargeting | None currently used | Not applicable | Not applicable | No |
| Third-party behavioral analytics | None currently used | Not applicable | Not applicable | No |
The exact technical name of an authentication or payment cookie may be assigned or changed by the applicable provider. This Policy describes each technology by its purpose because provider-generated names and expiration settings can change without altering how Koloring Coach uses the technology.
Essential authentication storage
When a user signs in, our authentication provider stores session information in the browser so the user can remain signed in and account requests can be authorized.
This information may include:
- A session or access token;
- A refresh token or similar session-renewal record;
- An authentication state value;
- An account or session identifier; and
- Security information needed to prevent unauthorized requests.
Authentication storage is used only for signing in, maintaining and securing the session, and authorizing requested account functions. Removing or blocking it may sign the user out or prevent account features from working.
A session may end when the user signs out, the session expires, the provider revokes it, the account is secured or disabled, or the user clears relevant browser storage. Closing a tab may not immediately end a signed-in session if the authentication configuration is designed to keep the user signed in.
Authentication technologies can qualify as strictly necessary when they are used only to provide authentication requested by the user, but storage used for secondary monitoring or behavioral tracking requires separate analysis and may require consent.
Free Test draft storage
The Free Test flow lets a visitor choose a coloring page and creative settings before creating or signing into an account.
Before authentication, the following information is stored in IndexedDB on the user’s device and browser profile:
- The selected coloring-page image data;
- The proposed project name;
- Selected vibes;
- A custom direction;
- The Surprise Me state; and
- The selected creative level.
The draft stays on the device before sign-in. It is not uploaded to Koloring Coach’s account storage, and no AI generation occurs before authentication.
The Free Test draft is persistent enough to survive a refresh or closed tab. It is checked for expiry when the draft is next opened and is cleared if more than 24 hours have passed since it was saved. It is also cleared after the page is successfully saved to the user’s account or when the user cancels the flow.
A limited resume instruction or authentication-state value may pass through the sign-in process so Koloring Coach can return the user to the requested flow. The entire image draft is not intended to be placed in the sign-in URL.
Anyone with access to the same unlocked device and browser profile may potentially access locally stored draft information. Do not use the Free Test flow with confidential, sensitive, regulated, or unauthorized material, especially on a shared or public device.
Clearing site data, using private-browsing controls, or browser storage-management features can remove an unfinished draft. A removed draft may not be recoverable.
Preference storage
Koloring Coach stores a limited amount of temporary interface information in session storage. This may include marker-library search or filter state, the last selected admin section, a dismissed support prompt, a return path for support, an account recovery or deletion confirmation flag, and an authorized staff member’s temporary member-preview setting. Local storage may briefly hold identifiers for an unfinished page creation so a retry can reconnect to the same attempt without using another Page Creation. These are functional records, not advertising trackers.
This information remains on the device and normally clears when the relevant tab or browser session ends. Browser session-restoration features may sometimes restore session data after a browser is reopened.
Preference storage is not used to create an advertising profile or follow a user across unrelated websites.
Checkout and payment security
Checkout and the customer billing portal are provided by a third-party payment processor. When a user opens checkout or the billing portal, the processor may set or read cookies and similar technologies needed to:
- Maintain the checkout session;
- Process and confirm payment;
- Authenticate access to billing tools;
- Detect and prevent fraud;
- Meet financial, security, and legal requirements; and
- Remember limited checkout information where permitted.
The payment provider controls its own cookies and retention periods under its terms and privacy practices. Blocking those technologies may prevent checkout or the billing portal from functioning.
Koloring Coach does not intend to receive or store a user’s full payment-card number. Our Privacy Policy explains the limited payment and entitlement records received by Koloring Coach.
Server and provider logs
Our hosting, database, file-storage, authentication, AI, email, security, and payment providers maintain standard server-side records. These records may include IP address, browser or device information, request time, route, session or request identifier, payment status, generation status, error information, security events, and fraud signals.
Server logs are not necessarily cookies or information stored in the user’s browser. They are described here so users understand that clearing browser storage does not erase server, account, project, payment, security, or provider records.
The Privacy Policy explains how server-side information is processed and retained.
Email technologies
Koloring Coach sends transactional messages such as account confirmation, password reset, purchase, security, generation, and support emails. Our email provider records operational delivery events such as sent, delivered, delayed, bounced, failed, complained, unsubscribed, or suppressed so we can operate and protect email delivery.
New accounts are enrolled in Koloring Coach marketing emails when they are created, with notice given on the sign-up screen. Every marketing email includes a one-click unsubscribe, and the preference can be turned off at any time in Settings. Marketing email is separate from acceptance of our Terms, and turning it off never affects necessary account, billing, security, purchase, or support messages.
Koloring Coach does not currently add advertising, retargeting, or cross-site tracking pixels to account or marketing emails. If open measurement, click measurement, or another nonessential email-tracking technology is introduced, this Policy and the relevant consent or preference controls will be updated before it is used where required.
Links in emails may still contain security, message, unsubscribe, or delivery identifiers needed to complete the user’s request or protect the service. Those operational identifiers are not used by Koloring Coach for cross-site behavioral advertising.
Analytics and advertising
Koloring Coach does not currently use:
- Third-party behavioral-analytics cookies;
- Advertising cookies;
- Retargeting pixels;
- Social-media tracking pixels;
- Cross-site behavioral profiles;
- Data-broker tracking technologies; or
- Session-replay tools that record user activity.
Koloring Coach and its infrastructure providers may still use server-side operational information to measure basic service performance, investigate errors, prevent abuse, and maintain security. That operational processing is not used by Koloring Coach for cross-site behavioral advertising.
If Koloring Coach later introduces a nonessential analytics, advertising, social-media, personalization, or session-replay technology, it will update this Policy and implement the legally required notice, consent, rejection, or opt-out controls before activating that technology where required.
Consent and necessary storage
Koloring Coach currently limits browser storage to technologies used for authentication, security, an unfinished Free Test requested by the user, limited functionality, and checkout or billing requested by the user.
Some jurisdictions exempt storage that is strictly necessary to provide an online service expressly requested by the user. Storage that is merely helpful, convenient, or useful to the business may not qualify for that exemption.
Because Koloring Coach does not currently use nonessential advertising or third-party behavioral-analytics technologies, it does not currently display a general “accept all cookies” banner. A banner that invites users to accept categories that are not actually present would not accurately describe the service.
If nonessential technologies are introduced, they will not be activated before legally valid consent is obtained in jurisdictions that require prior consent. Continuing to browse will not be treated as consent where an affirmative choice is required.
Browser privacy signals
Do Not Track
Some browsers offer a “Do Not Track” signal. There is no universal technical standard that requires every website to respond in the same way.
Koloring Coach does not currently track users across unrelated websites for behavioral advertising. As a result, enabling or disabling a Do Not Track signal does not change Koloring Coach’s current advertising behavior.
Global Privacy Control
Where applicable law requires recognition of a valid browser-based opt-out signal, such as Global Privacy Control, Koloring Coach will treat the signal as a request to opt out of covered sale, sharing, or targeted-advertising activity for that browser or device.
Koloring Coach does not currently sell personal information or share it for cross-context behavioral advertising, so there is currently no such activity for the signal to disable.
California guidance requires covered operators to explain cross-site tracking practices, applicable browser signals, and whether other parties may collect information across websites.
Managing browser storage
Users can control or remove cookies and site data through browser settings. Depending on the browser, controls may allow a user to:
- View cookies and stored site data;
- Delete data for Koloring Coach;
- Block some or all cookies;
- Clear IndexedDB, local storage, and session storage;
- Use a private or incognito browsing mode; or
- Configure browser privacy signals.
Blocking or deleting necessary browser storage may:
- Sign the user out;
- Prevent account authentication;
- Remove an unfinished Free Test setup;
- Reset temporary interface preferences;
- Interrupt checkout or billing-portal access; or
- Prevent some requested features from working.
Clearing browser storage does not delete:
- The Koloring Coach account;
- Projects already saved to the account;
- Generated Content already saved to the account;
- Subscription or payment records;
- Page Creation balances or ledger entries;
- Support messages;
- Provider logs or fraud records; or
- Protected backups.
Project and account deletion are described in the Privacy Policy. Cancelling a subscription is described in the Terms & Conditions and Refund Policy.
Other people using the device
Browser storage is associated with the device and browser profile, not necessarily with one physical person. Anyone with access to the same unlocked device and browser profile may be able to access a signed-in account, temporary preferences, or an unfinished Free Test draft.
Users should sign out on shared devices, protect devices with appropriate access controls, avoid saving sensitive drafts on public devices, and clear browser storage after using a shared browser.
Third-party websites
Koloring Coach may link or redirect users to a third-party payment portal, support resource, or other external website. A third-party website may use cookies or similar technologies under its own policy.
This Policy governs technologies used as part of Koloring Coach. It does not control cookies placed solely by an independent third-party website after the user leaves Koloring Coach.
Changes to this Policy
Koloring Coach may update this Policy when browser-storage practices, service providers, features, or legal requirements change.
The “Last updated” date will be changed whenever this Policy is revised. If a material change introduces nonessential tracking or significantly changes how browser information is used, Koloring Coach will provide additional notice and obtain consent or offer an opt-out where required before the new practice is applied.
Koloring Coach will not quietly add advertising or cross-site tracking while continuing to state that none is used.
