Kolor Me Silly
Privacy Policy
This Privacy Policy explains what Koloring Coach collects, why the information is used, who receives it, how long it may be kept, and what happens when a user uploads a coloring page created by an artist, illustrator, author, publisher, photographer, or other rights holder.
Last updated: September 26, 2026
Effective date: September 26, 2026
At a glance
The person uploading a page is the user. The artist or publisher who created the page may be someone else and may not use Koloring Coach.
Uploading does not transfer ownership. Koloring Coach does not claim ownership of an uploaded coloring page, and using the service does not give a user ownership of someone else’s work.
Private does not mean local-only. After sign-in, uploaded pages are stored in private, account-linked storage. When a user requests an AI result, the page and relevant project information are transmitted through third-party AI infrastructure to an AI model provider for processing.
Koloring Coach does not train its own AI models on uploaded pages. Koloring Coach does not sell uploaded pages, build artist-style models from them, or contribute them to external AI-training datasets.
Training and retention are different. AI providers may temporarily retain limited information for service operation, security, safety, abuse prevention, troubleshooting, billing, legal compliance, or backup recovery.
Deleting a project removes its active Koloring Coach copies. It may not immediately erase information already contained in temporary provider logs, protected backups, safety records, fraud records, or legal holds.
Do not upload confidential or sensitive material. Do not include personal, private, regulated, or highly sensitive information in an uploaded page, reference image, marker photo, project name, prompt, screenshot, or Coach message.
Who we are
Kolor Me Silly LLC, doing business as Koloring Coach (“Kolor Me Silly,” “Koloring Coach,” “we,” “us,” or “our”), operates an AI-assisted coloring inspiration, education, and personal planning service available at koloringcoach.com.
For privacy questions and requests, email hello@kolormesilly.com.
This Policy applies to Koloring Coach’s website, account system, Free Test flow, project tools, AI-generated references, palettes, coloring plans, marker tools, Coach conversations, support features, purchases, and related services.
This Policy does not govern an artist’s, publisher’s, AI provider’s, payment processor’s, or other third party’s separate website or service. Those parties may have their own terms and privacy notices.
Important definitions
User or “you” means the person who visits Koloring Coach, creates an account, purchases a plan or Page Creation, uploads content, or uses the service.
Uploaded Content means a coloring page, line-art image, inspiration image, reference image, marker photograph, screenshot, text instruction, or other material a user sends to Koloring Coach.
Creator or Rights Holder means the artist, illustrator, author, photographer, publisher, company, or other person or organization that owns or controls rights in Uploaded Content. The Creator or Rights Holder may not be the user and may not have a Koloring Coach account.
Generated Content means a visual coloring reference, palette, coloring plan, marker recipe, recommendation, Coach response, revision, or other output generated or assembled through the service.
Project Content means Uploaded Content, creative instructions, Generated Content, saved versions, Coach conversations, and related project information.
Service Provider means a company that processes information to host, secure, support, bill for, or provide Koloring Coach, including providers used for infrastructure, storage, authentication, artificial intelligence, payments, email, and technical operations.
References to “content you upload” do not mean that you created or own that content. References to “your project” mean the project associated with your account, not ownership of every work contained in it.
Information we collect
Account information
We collect the email address used for an account, authentication records, account identifiers, sign-in and session information, and any optional display name or profile information entered in Settings.
Our authentication provider may process login credentials and security information. We do not need to receive a user’s raw password when authentication is handled by that provider.
Uploaded pages and images
We collect coloring pages, line art, inspiration images, reference images, marker photographs, screenshots, and other images a user chooses to upload.
An uploaded coloring page may have been created by the user or by an independent Creator or Rights Holder. The presence of a page in a user’s account does not establish who owns the page or whether the user has permission to process it.
Creative input
We collect selected vibes, custom directions, Surprise Me selections, creative-level selections, requested changes, palette preferences, marker information, and other instructions used to create a requested result.
Generated Content
We collect and store generated visual references, palettes, coloring plans, marker recipes, recommendations, Coach responses, and project versions saved from revisions.
Generated Content may resemble content produced for other users who submit similar pages or instructions. We do not promise that Generated Content is unique, accurate, free from third-party rights, or suitable for commercial use.
Coach conversations
We collect messages exchanged with the in-app Coach and associate them with the related project when needed to provide conversational assistance and preserve project context.
Marker-library information
We collect marker sets, brand or color information, notes, and photographs of markers or marker cases that a user chooses to add.
Project information
We collect project names, creation and update times, favorite and archive status, generation status, revision history, saved versions, error status, and other information needed to organize, deliver, and recover projects.
Purchase and entitlement information
We collect plan information, entitlement status, Page Creation balances, credit or adjustment ledger entries, purchase receipts, payment status, and payment-provider customer, subscription, invoice, and event identifiers.
Full payment-card numbers are processed by our payment processor and are not intended to be received or stored by Koloring Coach.
Marketing choices
New accounts are enrolled in marketing emails when they are created, with notice given on the sign-up screen, and may opt out at any time. We record the email address, whether marketing email is on or off, when and where that status was set, the version of the wording shown, and when it was turned off.
Feedback and support
We collect a feedback category, message, optional screenshot, the page or route where feedback was submitted, device and browser information, related project information, and anything a user sends by email or through support.
If support requires access to Project Content, access is limited to authorized personnel and the information reasonably needed to investigate the request.
Technical and security information
We and our providers collect standard application, server, database, storage, authentication, AI, payment, and email logs. These may include IP address, approximate location derived from IP address, browser and device information, session and account identifiers, request timestamps, page or feature activity, AI model used, generation status, duration, usage counts, error details, and security or fraud signals.
Depending on the AI configuration and troubleshooting settings, logs may also temporarily include some or all of an AI request and response. This could include a processed page image, instructions, relevant project context, or Generated Content.
Email-delivery information
Our email provider processes information needed to deliver sign-up confirmations, password resets, purchase notices, generation updates, security notices, support replies, and optional marketing emails. This may include email address, message identifiers, delivery events, bounces, failures, complaints, unsubscribes, and suppression records.
Information we do not request
We do not ask users to submit government identification numbers, financial-account credentials, full payment-card numbers, medical information, biometric identifiers, precise geolocation, or other highly sensitive information in a coloring project.
Do not upload confidential, private, regulated, or highly sensitive material. Do not include another person’s face, name, contact details, health information, account information, or other personal information in a page, marker image, prompt, project name, screenshot, or Coach message unless you have a valid reason and authority to do so.
Free Test setup
The Free Test flow allows a visitor to choose a page and creative settings before creating or signing into an account.
Before authentication:
- The draft remains on the user’s device and is not uploaded to Koloring Coach’s account storage.
- No AI generation occurs.
- The browser stores the draft in IndexedDB for that browser profile and device.
- The draft may include image data, a project name, vibe selections, a custom direction, the Surprise Me state, and creative level.
- A limited resume instruction may pass through the sign-in process so the flow can continue after authentication.
- The authentication provider stores session information needed to complete sign-in.
The browser draft is configured to expire 24 hours after it is saved. It is also cleared after the page is successfully saved to the account or when the user cancels the flow. Browser behavior, privacy settings, extensions, device backups, or technical failures may affect local storage and deletion.
Anyone with access to the same unlocked device and browser profile may be able to view locally stored draft data. Clearing the relevant browser storage removes the local draft and may prevent recovery.
How data moves
Upload-to-deletion flow
- Local selection. During Free Test, the selected page and settings remain in the user’s browser until authentication.
- Account upload. After authentication, Koloring Coach sends the processed working copy and selected settings to private, account-linked application storage.
- AI request. When the user requests a generation, revision, palette, plan, marker recommendation, or Coach response, Koloring Coach sends the information needed for that request through a third-party AI infrastructure and routing provider.
- Model processing. The routing provider sends the request to Google Gemini or another model provider disclosed in this Policy. The request may include the processed page, instructions, relevant project context, earlier Generated Content, and relevant Coach messages.
- Provider operations. The providers may process request information to generate a response and perform security, safety, misuse detection, billing, troubleshooting, and reliability functions.
- Return and storage. The result returns to Koloring Coach and is stored with the project when saving is needed for the requested feature.
- Ongoing use. The user may view, revise, archive, favorite, or delete the project. Archiving does not delete it.
- Project deletion. Koloring Coach removes active project records and associated active files when the deletion operation completes.
- Provider expiration. Provider logs, backups, security records, safety records, fraud records, and legal holds may not be erased at the same time. They expire or are deleted under the applicable provider settings, agreements, and legal requirements.
AI processing
Providers and purposes
Koloring Coach uses third-party AI infrastructure and routing services to connect the application to AI model providers, currently including Google Gemini.
When a user requests a generated visual reference, revision, palette, coloring plan, marker recommendation, or Coach response, Koloring Coach may transmit:
- A processed copy of the uploaded coloring page or reference image;
- The user’s creative instructions and selected settings;
- Relevant palette, coloring-plan, marker, or project information;
- An earlier generated result when a revision or comparison is requested;
- Relevant portions of a Coach conversation; and
- Technical information needed to authenticate, deliver, secure, meter, and troubleshoot the request.
These providers process the information to generate the requested result and to provide security, safety, abuse-prevention, billing, troubleshooting, and reliability functions.
AI requests are sent through server-side infrastructure. Koloring Coach does not intentionally expose private AI credentials in the user’s browser.
AI-training commitment
Koloring Coach and Kolor Me Silly do not:
- Train their own AI models on Uploaded Content or Generated Content;
- Build artist-style, artist-identity, or artist-imitation models from user uploads;
- Assemble uploaded pages into datasets for sale, licensing, or external AI training;
- Sell Uploaded Content or Generated Content;
- Publish private Project Content for marketing or advertising; or
- Voluntarily authorize AI service providers to use uploaded coloring pages for general model training.
Under the service arrangements currently used by Koloring Coach, information submitted through the published application is not permitted to be used for general AI-model training by our AI infrastructure and model providers. These commitments do not mean that an uploaded page has never appeared elsewhere online or in another dataset. They also do not mean that no temporary technical copy, security log, safety record, protected backup, or legally required record can exist. We will not materially change this commitment or apply a new AI-training use to previously collected content merely by updating this Privacy Policy.
Retention and human access
AI model training, operational retention, and human review are different activities.
Our AI providers may record operational metadata about requests. Depending on the provider, model, account configuration, safety status, and troubleshooting settings, some request or response content may also be retained temporarily for service operation, security, abuse prevention, safety review, billing, troubleshooting, or legal compliance.
We do not promise:
- Zero provider retention;
- Zero operational logging;
- Zero human access in every circumstance;
- Immediate deletion from every provider system;
- Processing in only one country; or
- That provider terms and technical controls will never change.
Authorized Koloring Coach personnel may access Project Content only when reasonably necessary to respond to the user, investigate abuse or security incidents, meet legal obligations, or maintain the service. Provider personnel may review limited content where permitted for safety, abuse prevention, technical support, or legal compliance.
If provider terms or configurations materially change how Uploaded Content is used, retained, transferred, or protected, we will update this Policy and provide additional notice where required.
Artists and rights holders
No transfer of ownership
Uploading or processing a coloring page does not transfer copyright, trademark rights, publicity rights, or ownership to the user, Koloring Coach, Kolor Me Silly, an AI provider, or an infrastructure provider.
Our receipt or processing of a page does not establish that the user owns it, has the Creator’s permission, qualifies for a legal exception, or has a commercial-use license.
Generated Content does not erase or replace rights in the underlying page. Users remain responsible for complying with the Creator’s or publisher’s license and applicable law when using, displaying, sharing, or selling anything based on the page.
Intended private use
Koloring Coach is designed to provide private coloring inspiration, education, planning, and personal reference. It is not designed to reproduce or distribute replacement coloring books, remove ownership marks, create unauthorized commercial editions, impersonate an artist, or publish another Creator’s pages as the user’s own.
A user must not upload content when the user knows that the upload or requested processing is unauthorized, unlawful, or prohibited by the applicable license or Rights Holder.
Reports from rights holders
A Creator or Rights Holder who believes a work has been uploaded or processed without authorization may email hello@kolormesilly.com and provide:
- The requester’s name and contact information;
- Identification of the protected work;
- Information reasonably sufficient to locate the relevant content or account;
- A description of the requester’s ownership or authority;
- The action requested; and
- A statement that the supplied information is accurate.
We may request additional information to verify the claim and locate the content. Because projects are private and may not contain an artist’s name or book title, we may be unable to identify a project from a general description alone.
Where a claim can reasonably be verified and the content located, we may preserve relevant evidence, restrict further processing, remove active copies, warn or suspend the user, address repeated misuse, or take another appropriate action.
To protect user privacy, we do not ordinarily disclose an uploading user’s identity, contact information, private project, or account records to a complaining party unless the user authorizes disclosure or disclosure is required or permitted by law.
Copyright notices and counter-notices are handled under our separate Copyright & Intellectual Property Policy. A copyright report is not automatically a privacy-rights request.
Why we process information
We use information to:
- Create, authenticate, secure, and administer accounts;
- Maintain user sessions;
- Accept, store, organize, and display private projects;
- Deliver requested AI generations, revisions, palettes, coloring plans, marker recommendations, and Coach responses;
- Save versions, favorites, archives, marker libraries, and project history;
- Track subscriptions, entitlements, Page Creation balances, usage, refunds, reversals, and adjustments;
- Process purchases, renewals, cancellations, and payment events;
- Recover from failed generations and return reserved Page Creations where appropriate;
- Send required account, purchase, security, and service messages;
- Send optional marketing only when permitted;
- Respond to support, feedback, privacy, copyright, and security requests;
- Diagnose errors and improve the service’s reliability, usability, performance, and non-training features;
- Detect, prevent, and investigate fraud, abuse, infringement, and security incidents;
- Enforce our Terms and other policies;
- Establish, exercise, or defend legal claims; and
- Meet tax, accounting, regulatory, and other legal obligations.
Service improvement does not authorize us to train our own AI models on uploaded coloring pages. We may use aggregate or de-identified operational statistics that do not include identifiable page images or prompt content to understand service performance, demand, failure rates, and feature use.
Legal bases
Where applicable law requires a legal basis, we rely on:
- Contract: processing needed to create an account, provide requested features, save projects, administer purchases, and provide support;
- Legitimate interests: securing the service, preventing fraud and abuse, troubleshooting, maintaining records, improving non-training aspects of the service, and establishing or defending legal claims, where those interests are not overridden by a person’s rights;
- Consent: optional marketing, non-essential cookies or similar technologies, and other processing for which consent is specifically requested;
- Legal obligation: tax, accounting, lawful process, regulatory duties, and legally required records; and
- Protection of users and others: responding to security threats, fraud, abuse, infringement, or threats to rights and safety where permitted by law.
A user may withdraw consent for future consent-based processing at any time. Withdrawal does not make earlier processing unlawful and does not affect processing based on contract, legitimate interests, or legal obligations.
Service providers
We use service providers to operate Koloring Coach. They receive information reasonably needed for their functions, subject to applicable agreements, technical controls, and legal obligations.
AI infrastructure and models
We use third-party AI infrastructure and routing services to transmit requests to AI model providers, currently including Google Gemini.
These providers may process uploaded coloring pages, reference images, instructions, project context, previous generated results, and relevant Coach messages when necessary to provide a feature requested by the user.
Our AI providers may use infrastructure companies and other subprocessors to deliver, secure, monitor, and maintain their services. Additional information about the categories of providers handling personal information may be requested by emailing hello@kolormesilly.com.
Hosting, database, authentication, and storage
Infrastructure providers host the application, database, authentication records, private files, backend functions, and related logs. These providers may process account information, Project Content, IP addresses, identifiers, and technical records needed to provide and secure those services.
Payments
Payment providers process payment credentials and transactions. We receive limited information such as customer or subscription identifiers, amount, currency, payment status, invoice or receipt information, and fraud or dispute signals. We do not intend to receive or store full payment-card numbers.
Email providers deliver transactional and optional marketing messages and process addresses, delivery events, bounces, complaints, unsubscribes, and suppression records.
Support, security, and infrastructure
Technical, fraud-prevention, security, monitoring, and support providers help protect, maintain, troubleshoot, and improve the service.
Service providers may use their own subprocessors. We may change providers as the service develops. If a change materially affects the handling of personal information or Uploaded Content, we will update this Policy and provide additional notice where required.
Other disclosures
We may disclose information:
- At a user’s direction or with the user’s consent;
- To service providers performing services for us;
- To investigate or prevent fraud, abuse, infringement, security incidents, or violations of our Terms;
- To protect the rights, property, security, or safety of Koloring Coach, users, Creators, Rights Holders, or others;
- To comply with a subpoena, court order, warrant, regulatory request, or other lawful process;
- To establish, exercise, or defend legal claims; or
- In connection with a merger, financing, acquisition, reorganization, bankruptcy, or sale of all or part of the business, subject to appropriate confidentiality and notice requirements.
We evaluate government and legal requests and disclose only information we reasonably believe we are required or permitted to disclose.
No sale or advertising
We do not sell personal information or Uploaded Content. We do not share personal information for cross-context behavioral advertising, and we do not use Uploaded Content to build advertising profiles.
We do not intentionally place third-party social-media advertising or retargeting pixels in the service. Necessary disclosures to service providers for hosting, AI generation, authentication, payments, security, email, and support are made so those companies can provide services to us; we do not treat those operational disclosures as sales of user data.
If these practices change, we will update this Policy, provide legally required choices, and obtain consent where required before applying a new practice.
Marketing emails
Marketing email is optional. A user receives coloring inspiration, product updates, or offers only after choosing to subscribe through sign-up, an in-app invitation, Settings, or another clear opt-in method.
Marketing consent is separate from acceptance of the Terms. We record the consent choice, date and time, location of the choice, wording version, and later withdrawal to administer preferences and demonstrate compliance.
Every marketing email includes an unsubscribe method. A user may also change the marketing preference in Settings. Withdrawing from marketing does not stop account, billing, purchase, security, support, or other necessary service messages.
How long we keep information
We keep information only as long as reasonably needed for the purposes described in this Policy, then delete or de-identify it unless continued retention is required or permitted for legal, accounting, fraud-prevention, security, dispute, or enforcement purposes.
Active projects
Active project records, source uploads, inspiration images, Generated Content, saved versions, palettes, plans, marker information, and Coach conversations remain in the user’s account until the user deletes the project, deletes the account, or requests deletion, subject to the exceptions below.
Free Test drafts
A Free Test draft stored in the browser is configured to expire 24 hours after it is saved and is cleared after successful account saving or cancellation. The user may also clear the browser’s local storage.
Deleted projects
When project deletion completes, we remove the active project record and associated active source images, inspiration images, Generated Content, saved versions, and related Coach conversation from our application database and private file storage.
Deletion is not necessarily instantaneous across caches, logs, provider systems, or backups. A deleted project cannot ordinarily be restored through the user interface.
AI-provider records
AI infrastructure and model providers may retain request metadata or limited request and response content for operational, security, safety, abuse-prevention, debugging, billing, or legal purposes. The retention period depends on the selected model, account configuration, provider settings, safety status, and legal obligations.
We cannot promise that deleting a project will immediately remove every copy already held in a provider log, safety system, protected backup, fraud record, or legal hold. Provider-held information expires or is deleted under the applicable provider agreement, setting, and legal requirement.
Accounts
Account information is retained while the account exists. After a verified account-deletion request is completed, we delete or de-identify active account information and associated active content, except records that must or may be retained for billing, tax, accounting, fraud prevention, security, dispute resolution, policy enforcement, or legal compliance.
Payments and ledgers
Payment, tax, accounting, receipt, subscription, Page Creation, refund, adjustment, and entitlement records may be retained after a project or account is deleted when needed to satisfy financial, audit, fraud-prevention, or legal obligations. An append-only ledger entry may remain without the deleted page image or Generated Content.
Support and feedback
Support messages, feedback, and screenshots are retained while needed to resolve the request, identify recurring problems, maintain security, and preserve relevant business or legal records. Avoid including unnecessary Project Content in a support request.
Logs
Security, fraud, AI-request, server, authentication, payment, and email-delivery logs remain for the operational periods set by us or our providers. Logs may be kept longer when tied to an investigation, chargeback, legal hold, security incident, abuse report, or dispute.
Backups
Routine backups roll off according to provider schedules. Deleted information may remain temporarily in a protected backup and will not ordinarily be restored except for disaster recovery, security, or legal necessity. If a backup is restored, deletion controls will be reapplied where reasonably practicable.
Archiving, deleting, and cancelling
These actions are different:
- Archiving a project hides it from the active project list but keeps the project and its content in the account.
- Deleting a project initiates permanent removal of the active project record and its associated active files. It cannot be undone through the service after deletion completes.
- Cancelling a subscription stops future renewal according to the applicable billing terms. It does not delete the account, projects, or Project Content.
- Deleting an account removes active account content after identity verification and processing, subject to limited legal, billing, fraud, security, backup, and provider-retention exceptions.
- You can delete your account in Settings after confirming your identity. You may also request account deletion by emailing hello@kolormesilly.com from the email address associated with the account. Additional verification may be required before deletion.
Deleting a Koloring Coach project or account does not necessarily delete:
- A copy the user downloaded or shared outside the service;
- A copy held by another person;
- A copy of the original work held by its Creator or publisher;
- Information in a pending payment dispute, security investigation, abuse report, or legal hold;
- Limited accounting, tax, ledger, consent, or transaction records; or
- Temporary provider logs and backups that have not yet expired.
Your privacy rights
Depending on location and applicable law, a person may have the right to:
- Confirm whether personal information is processed;
- Access personal information;
- Correct inaccurate information;
- Request deletion;
- Receive a portable copy;
- Restrict or object to certain processing;
- Withdraw consent for future consent-based processing;
- Opt out of marketing;
- Opt out of sale, sharing, or targeted advertising where applicable;
- Receive equal service and non-discrimination for exercising privacy rights; and
- Appeal a denied privacy request where applicable.
To submit a request, email hello@kolormesilly.com from the account email address and describe the requested action. We may request information reasonably necessary to verify identity, authority, and the records involved.
Authorized agents may submit requests where applicable law requires. We may ask for proof of authorization and may verify the request directly with the user.
We may deny or limit a request where permitted by law—for example, when information cannot reasonably be linked to the requester, must be retained for tax or legal purposes, is needed for fraud prevention or security, concerns another person’s privacy, or is protected from disclosure.
A privacy request from a Creator or Rights Holder does not automatically grant access to another user’s private account or project. Copyright and intellectual-property concerns should also be submitted under the Copyright & Intellectual Property Policy.
Children
Koloring Coach is intended for adults. A person must be at least 18 years old or the age of legal majority in that person’s location, whichever is higher, to create or use an account.
Koloring Coach is not directed to children under 13, does not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13, and does not operate a parental-consent system. If we learn that a person who does not meet the minimum age created an account or submitted personal information, we may suspend and delete the account and associated information, subject to legal retention requirements.
A parent or guardian who believes a child submitted information may contact hello@kolormesilly.com.
Security
We use administrative, technical, and organizational safeguards designed to protect information. Current safeguards include private access-controlled storage for uploads and Generated Content, account-based authorization, database access controls such as row-level security, server-side AI calls, encryption supplied by infrastructure providers in transit and at rest where applicable, restricted internal access, provider-managed authentication, and payment processing that keeps full card numbers outside Koloring Coach’s application systems.
Security controls reduce risk but do not eliminate it. No internet service, storage system, transmission, model provider, or authentication system can guarantee perfect security. We do not claim that unauthorized access, loss, misuse, or disclosure can never occur, and we do not claim a security certification or independent audit that we have not actually obtained.
Use a strong, unique password, protect access to your email account and devices, sign out of shared devices, and report suspected unauthorized access promptly to hello@kolormesilly.com.
If a security incident legally requires notice, we will notify affected persons and authorities as required by applicable law.
International processing
We and our providers may process and store information in the United States and other countries where they or their subprocessors operate. Those countries may have privacy laws different from the user’s location.
Where required, we or our providers rely on contractual protections, recognized transfer mechanisms, adequacy decisions, or other lawful safeguards for international transfers.
We do not promise that an AI request will be processed or stored in a single country unless a specific written service configuration says otherwise.
Changes to this Policy
We may update this Policy as the service, providers, laws, or technical practices change. We will change the “Last updated” date whenever the Policy is revised.
For a material change that significantly expands how personal information or Uploaded Content is used or reduces a user’s rights, we will provide additional notice reasonably designed to reach affected users, such as an in-app notice or email, before the change takes effect where required.
Changes apply prospectively unless applicable law permits or requires otherwise. We will not quietly convert private user uploads into a training dataset for our own AI models. If consent is legally required for a new use, we will request consent before that use begins.
